Managing Director: Peter Preston

Peter Preston somehow manages to juggle the everyday concerns of a thriving flying club, whilst ensuring that all who enter the club enjoy a convivial atmosphere. Often found laughing and joking with the staff, club members and guests, you can be assured of a friendly welcome when met by Peter at the club door.

Head Of Training: Bob Bolster

Bob is a very experienced instructor and examiner, as our resident 170A examiner for IR and CPL training. Bob is also a FI Instructor. With Bob as your guide, you will receive the kind of solid aviation knowledge that will stand you in good stead for the whole of your flying career. A truly comprehensive instructor, with the ability to take you from PPL to full instrument rating.

Chief Engineer: Mike Hatt

Mike Hatt has a wealth of experience in many fields of expertise. With thousands of flying hours behind him and career dedicated to engineering, he is guaranteed to be able to fix it for you. A very knowledgeable aviator, and steam engine enthusiast. If you ever get tired of talking about flying (unlikely) ask him about his steam ship. Take a look at the web site

Dept CFI: Paul Griggs

With the best part of his free time over the last ten years Paul Griggs has accumulated nearly 3,200 flying hours. Now an experienced examiner, he still has the same enthusiasm for flying as he did when he was learning all those years ago.
